For many, the hardest part of starting Bachata is knowing where the party is. At AXcent Dance, we believe that social dancing is the soul of our community. It is where you put your weekly class training into practice and truly find your flow. Here is your nightly map to the best social dance floors in Zurich.
Monday: Dancing by the Lake
Every Monday, experience the magic of dancing by the lake at Bürkliplatz Open Dancing. It is completely free and incredibly beginner-friendly. The open-air atmosphere makes it the perfect place to overcome those first-time social dance nerves.
Dancing outdoors at **Bürkliplatz** is a Zurich tradition. There is nothing like a sunset over Lake Zurich accompanied by the rhythms of the Dominican Republic. It is a social ecosystem where everyone is welcome.
Mid-Week Energy: Tuesday & Thursday
Tuesday nights belong to **Mi Bachata at Vior Club**, right in the heart of the city. It is often the most crowded weeknight, filled with energy and high-level dancers. While Thursdays are quieter, stay tuned to our community groups for spontaneous studio socials or smaller gatherings.
The Weekend: High-Energy Clubs
Friday Night @ Bananenreiferei
A multi-floor experience where the Bachata floor typically opens late into the night. It is a ritual for many dancers who enjoy both Salsa and Bachata under one roof.
Club Silbando Specials
Mark your calendars for the **4th Friday** (Fiesta Bachata) and the **2nd Saturday** (Fiesta Pasion) of every month. These events feature workshops by local teachers followed by intense social dancing on dedicated floors.
