Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to start at the beginning of the month?
No! Our classes run continuously, so you can join anytime if you have previous experience. New beginners are encouraged to start at the beginning of a cycle or book a private intro session.
What if I do not have a partner?
No problem at all! We rotate partners during class, so everyone dances with everyone. It is the best way to learn! If you prefer to stay with your own partner, just let the teacher know.
How do I know my level?
Check our Beginner Guide or ask our instructors during a trial class. We are happy to assess your level and recommend the best class for you.
What if I miss a class?
We know plans can change, so flexibility is built into your pass. Add up to two planned absences when you register. If an unexpected sick day comes up later, declare it in the Student Portal before 12:00 on the day you will miss, one per pass. In each case we extend your pass by that class day, so you never lose the lesson.
Do we need to rotate partners if we come as a couple?
While we usually encourage partner rotation because it helps everyone learn faster, it is completely optional! If you prefer to stay with your partner for the whole class, you are more than welcome to do so. It is your date night, after all.
